Origin

Washington, Yakima Valley Hopsteiner breeding program. Zeus is often sold within the name CTZ, which is a combo of Columbus, Tomahawk, and/or Zeus. They are often considered identical, they have been identified as genetically distinct, however, they do have remarkable similarities.

Unknown, suspected to be Brewer’s Gold.

Usage

Originally bred to be a super high alpha bittering hop, craft brewers have embraced its intense citrus and spice and pungent hoppy kick for IPAs.

Aroma & Flavour Character

Pungent, hoppy aroma with spice and wild herbal character. It can also bring light citrus. Dry hopping brings out the pine and spice.
